I'm Victor Forbes, a Fullstack Developer with passion for building scalable, robust and and high-performing web applications. Over the past 5 years, I've had the privilege of working on multiple impactful projects, from modernizing large-scale e-commerce platforms to architecting custom fullstack solutions from scratch and exploring the potential of blockchain technology. My journey began with a focus on developing exceptional user interfaces using React and Angular, which provided me with a strong foundation in frontend development.

Out of curiosity and my desire to improve I expanded my skillset to also encompass the backend, working mainly with Node.js and a bit with Python I built different servers, one better than the last as my experience grew. A significant highlight of my career has been begin part of the modernization of a major e-commerce platform's JSP stack to NextJS, using a cutting-edge MicroFrontend architecture that resulted in dramatic improvements in page load times and core web vitals. I thrive in environments where I can continuously learn, innovate, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that truly make a difference.
